A symptom diary for FND, epilepsy, endometriosis, POTS, migraine and more

Show your doctor what really happened.

Log an episode in two taps while it's happening. Add photos, the details and what a witness saw. Before your appointment, send your specialist a clear report from your own email.

Appointments are short. Episodes are hard to remember.

By the time you see your specialist, the details have blurred. When did it start? How long did it last? What were you doing, and what made it stop? If nobody else saw it, it can feel like your word against a blank page.

Kind Witness keeps those details while they're fresh, in one private place, and turns them into a report your doctor can read in a couple of minutes.

How it works

  1. Log it in two taps

Tap Log now when something starts. If it's still going, start the timer and tap again when it stops. It works one-handed, mid-episode.

  2. Add the details when you can

What you were doing, where in your body, how it started and what helped. Add photos, possible triggers and what a witness saw. Skip anything you don't know.

  3. Send a clear report

Pick the dates and Kind Witness builds a PDF: a one-page summary first, then every entry and photo. Send it from your own email, or print it.

Made for the moment it happens

Big buttons, plain words and nothing you have to fill in before it's saved.

Event timer

Start it when an episode begins and stop it when it ends. Kind Witness saves the start time, how long it lasted, or that it's still going.

Witness card

Hand your phone to whoever is with you. A simple card asks what they saw, in plain words, and adds it to the entry.

Photos that show change

A faint outline of your last photo helps you line up the same angle, so a rash, lump or wound can be compared side by side.

Body map

Tap where it happened on a front and back outline. Tap more than one place if it spread.

Plain-number summaries

See how often things happened, how long they lasted and what time of day. Just your own facts, with no guesses and no diagnosis.

Nothing happened today

One tap records a good day. Your doctor sees the quiet days too, not just the bad ones, so the picture is honest.

A report your specialist can read in two minutes

  • A one-page summary first: how many, the longest, and what time of day
  • Then each entry, with its photos and witness accounts
  • Your questions for the doctor, right on the front page
  • Clearly labelled as your own diary, not a clinical record
For clinicians: what's in the report

One diary for more than one condition

Pick every condition you live with. Each one comes with a template that asks the right questions, and you can add your own.

Comfort mode

Easy on the eyes, even mid-migraine

Bright white screens are hard when light hurts. Comfort mode takes the blue out of every screen in Kind Witness and dims it to a warm amber glow.

  • Turn it on with one tap, or let it come on at sunset
  • Add an extra tint in warm amber, soft green or rose
  • Extra dim goes darker than your phone's lowest brightness
  • Photos and reports keep their true colours
  • Want your whole phone warm too? Kind Witness walks you through your phone's own settings.

Your diary stays on your phone

Health details are personal. Kind Witness is built so that nobody, including us, can read yours.

Encrypted on your phone

Entries and photos are encrypted with AES-256, and the key is kept in your phone's secure storage.

No account, no ads, no tracking

There's nothing to sign up for, and nothing in the app reports what you do.

You choose who sees it

Reports go from your own email to the people you pick. They never pass through us.

Backups you control

An encrypted backup file, unlocked by a recovery code that only you hold.
